Interrupting the New England Posts Again

Sock Yarn Sweater

The weather has been raging out of control here in Ontario Canada. We had a few inches of snow on top of the few inches of snow we already had, then a whole night of rain that froze all, including the snow solid.

What do you do when you are stuck in a snow storm, and ice storm and then a blizzard, that we are getting tonight?

Make a baby sweater out of sock yarn. Yep! I got ahold of a cool pattern that takes advantage of the predyed patterns in the sock yarn.

Called the Mexicali Baby Ole!

This one is heading out to Germany as fast as possible, with the Christmas bundle.

Those stripe patterns are very neat indeed -- I remember knitting up a pair of blue and white socks and being amazed at the zigzags that formed (like your dark grey ones)
