Wire Wrapped Gemstone Rings and Circuit Boards with Worms!!!
I have been releasing my Geekery , SteamPunk and Silver Wire Wrapped jewelry into the Etsy shop slowly.
Mostly because I cannot get the edited photographs out fast enough.
I have been full speed this month creating things and dismantling watch relics and needle felting tiny little creatures!
I hope you find the selection varied enough.
For certain these all have a bit of my personality in them.
I wish I could keep all of them, but I can't. I purposely don't make the rings my own size so I won't be tempted to keep the creations :)
Here are the latest releases into the shop:

House Elf Socks keychains
I created these cute miniature House Elf Socks! I knitted them like flap heal socks in miniature on size 0 needles.
I am using proper sock yarn to make them.
I put them on a one inch key ring with a jump to a metal clasp so you can hook it to your purse for security.

Here's a little Surprise
To add to all this creativity today I have done something else. If you are just tuning in... here is the scoop: I have begun to make inquiries to see if I qualify for Federal and Provincial artistic grants. I have contacted the GOTO people indicated for the councils and I am very interested in what they say.
I am not certain. But I think I may be able to apply for multiple grants to improve and produce more virtual classrooms and to do my big fancy book, and to enhance my ability to be a strong competitor and presenter at associated conferences throughout North America.
Please send positive thoughts and prayers my way to help me with the Luck I will need to be accepted in the competition for the grants.
Just starting this process is so very exciting to me!
Spiritual and Geeky Jewelry
Have I told you lately that I love my Job!?
I may be disabled but I feel pretty freakin good when I can be inspired to create jewelry like you are about to see!
Steam Punk
Spiritual Pendulums
Wire Wrapped Gems
Geekery
Wait until you all see what I am holding back! Can you imagine Needle Felting combined with each of these genres? Oh YES it is coming so soon!
I know these items are going to be scooped up so if you want to be the Geek everyone at work will be jealous of...you better purchase soon, or they will be gone.
These OOAK pieces are from one of a kind gems or from reclaimed watch and clock parts. I cannot make exact duplicates...

The newest items I have listed are Spiritual Gems Wire Wrapped Jewelry and some Geekery Jewelry.
Just when you thought you saw it all....circuit board pendants and earrings.
I have also created some Steam Punk jewelry that I will release tomorrow.
Steam Punk is really cool so I suggest you come back tomorrow to see the Steam Punk creations!
For now I hope you enjoy browsing the newest items in the shop here:

I Am So Proud Of This Commissioned Piece
I hope I don't give away a surprise! I hope I don't.
When a pet dies it is devistating. We get so attached to our pets they become a member of the family.
I received a very emotional letter from a person inquiring about rabbits on my site.
After a brief interchange of emails I realized the person was looking for a present to help overcome a loss of a pet.
I suggested a commissioned miniature replica of the pet.
On my Etsy page I have examples of commissioned pieces that I have done, which act as commission order for your own commissioned miniature. I suggest your pets or your favourite teddy bear. My Son (the Rock Star) who is so Heavy Metal and wears black-commissioned a miniature of his favourite teddy bear so he can have it in his pocket when he travels (see Pinky on Etsy)
As I wrote earlier this week. I used my new technique of Tufting to add petable fur to the rabbit.
So today I introduce to you the finished piece after his Garden Photo Shoot! This little rabbit is so special to me he got to perch on my very special Amethyst with the Maple Leaf (Canada) flaw.
Finished May 20, 2009

Etsy TweetUp in Toronto Today!
As per usual I am a couple of steps behind on news.
I found out last night that there is an Etsy TweetUP in Toronto today!
I was so excited to hear this!
I also saw about the TweetUP on Jessica Doyle's TweetFeed.
She said she had traveled into Ontario for the TweetUP!
In 2006, when I became a serious blogger, Jessica Doyle's blog was one of the first I started to read regularly. She is a great artist who has written about her work, her struggles, at times being homesick, and lifesick, and her about her artistic routine.
I was tickled pink to think that now we could meet face to face.
West coast, to East coast and now Here!
I will be attending the Etsy, Toronto TweetUP today.
At The WorkRoom on Queen St. West 5-8PM
If you are an Etsy seller or buyer in the GTA please take the time to come visit today.
I want to meet you! I am excited to meet you!

Today is officially Etsy Day!
Today is officially Etsy Day!
I am excited about this.
The day I switched to be an official Etsy Seller, and left as an official (other web selling service) seller was an excellent day for me.
I went to Etsy on the suggestion of a friend who was a seller. She said,"You should really look at Etsy." So I did, and never looked back!
Why is Etsy so good for the crafter? The answer is simple. You are networking with like-minded people who want you to succeed. Everyone in Etsy is following their passion and dream--> To be able to share their hand-made products, or to be a collector of hand-made products and gifts.
The Etsy family has Teams, Groups, Discussion Boards, Tutorials, Advertising, and Features of every subject or craft product available on Etsy. You can make friends with other crafters and you can support them as they support you in your endeavour.
I Twitter Etsy. Most of the folks in my Twitter network are Etsy sellers. So if you like to browse Esty shops and get ideas for your own crafting or if you want to find unique crafts to buy it is a great idea to Tweet with us. Etsy Tweeters are World Wide. So you can see and network with folks near and far to you.
On Twitter you can find me as Witchamy
To see more of us who are networking on our Etsy you can look at our shops and then find the area that says "Who {hearts} this shop" and look at the list of our shop watchers.
If you like crafts join Etsy as a member so you are ready to be a buyer or a seller. The get your imagination ready!....and Go!
Below are my most recent Etsy items for sale. Click any of the item pics to head to my shop or go HERE to my shop. To become a member of Etsy start HERE.

My Newest Etsy Items
I have been working to deadlines this week.
I got some more Holiday stuff made to be released into the Showcase Feature on Esty in the Holiday Category.
I am also featured in Crochet too.
You go to www.etsy.com and you then choose the first Showcase box on the page.
After that you will see a bunch of photos on the page. In the top right corner of that page you will see a radio box with a drop down list if you hit the arrow.
Go to that drop down list and choose Holidays or Crochet.
My snowman ring is in Holidays and three white doilies in Crochet.
If you click on either pic it will show my other features in the category.

Well It Was A Great Thanks Giving Weekend!
This past long weekend was Canadian Thanks Giving.
My parents came up for Dinner, and our Student stayed for the festivities!
Our table is all decorated for halloween, so I thought you would like to see a pick of it.
The pic is huge in pixels. You can click on it to make the pic bigger to see the details.I made my Dad the first of the Remembrance Day Pins I designed.
These are not to take away from the Legion ones, but to be a more permanent homage to Remembrance Day, than can be worn on a tuxedo or suit or on your business clothes.
Dad is modeling his.
You can see the pin for sale on my Etsy shop by clicking on its pic in the Etsy badge below:
The new items I released today are in the badge too.

We Have Doilies Available Again!
I have loaded up quite a few of Nanny Tucker's Great Hand Made Crocheted Doilies into the Etsy Shop . They will show up in the Gallery soon. I finished cataloging and loading the the sets too late for Carl to get them into the Gallery tonight.
GoTo Etsy Shop Here
Nanny Tucker is my Mother-in-law.
Nanny Tucker Turned 95 in January 2008. She makes crocheted doilies to keep her hands busy. She makes them without a pattern! Her doilies are lovely, and each has its one special personality, as they are no two alike. I have done my best to join up groups of these lovely hand crocheted doilies she has made to keep her hands moving. Nanny Tucker is from Newfoundland and lives in Ontario now. She bakes bread every day, and still lives in her own home. I will give Nanny more yarn and all of the profits from these doilies for making these lovely pieces for my shop.
