I am at the Wedding for this Cake I made.

It is a traditional English Style dark fruit cake with Marzipan Coating and Royal Icing on top.

The Bride and Groom are the something borrowed. It was the cake topper of the future In-Laws.

It is my first Philipino Wedding. They do Hand-fasting too!

I will have pics on Monday.

I promise I will look at yours tonight!

Thanks for the comments.

You have all reasons to be proud of yourself - this was breath taking. Could I order a cake like that when my daughter get married?

Well, that is certainly a wonderful cake. You should be proud. And it's so big it took all those photos to show it off to advantage. Hope you had a good time at the wedding.

My photo is up.

Lynn, I am truly amazed at the abundance of talents you have. This cake is beautiful and I'm sure the bride and groom will be hesitant to cut into it. There will be many cameras up close and personal to it. Be prepared for many requests for future cake orders.
You have the Midas touch.
Congratulations,
Joette

Sure RennyBA,

Hi Lynn,

I can't believe you made that cake! That's completely gorgeous and probably delicious too, but it's almost a waste to let something that pretty be eaten.

Cheers,
Liz

This cake's bottom was eating by wedding guests, then the top two tiers have been frozen and saved for the bride and groom's anniversary or the baptism of their children.
It is a tradition.
