Watch The Evening Primrose Open!

Every Summer it is a ritual for all the neighbourhood kids to come over to my parent's house at sunset and watch the magic of the Evening Primrose opening.

Ah, I never seen that one, what a show it must be!

We saw a cactus specie in Paraguay, that is commonly referred to as nightblooming cereus, queen of the night - though it was some other specie.

Great little video. :) I had evening primrose for the first two years that I had my garden but it died off. I was amazed at how it opened in the evening as well.

We have Evening Primrose in our front Garden which is slow this year due to draught conditions in the South of England. It is only a third of the size it was last year
